Spring Week 8 Final Week
Leaders, although this is the final week of the Spring Season, I have heard from a lot of you that you would like to continue meeting since summer plans are not really being made at this point. The decision to stop or continue is completely up to you as the leader. If you do plan to continue, though, I would ask that you just email me and let me know. For groups that would like to continue, I will write questions if you want them; they will just be shortened and will not come with a leader guide. Please let me know what your group plans to do.
As we officially wrap up the season, I want to take a moment and celebrate with you what took place this season and to also encourage you to do the same with your group. As an encouragement to all of you, I want you to know that we had more people in groups this season than in the previous season; and for the first time we had multiple weeks in which more than 40% of our church’s regular weekly attendance actively participated in a group. That is a huge number for us and has been a goal for a while. Make sure you spend some time with your group highlighting the good from this season and encouraging one another in the growth and steps you have seen in each other’s lives.
All that is to say, in the midst of changing everything, teaching your group how to use video conferencing, learning how to communicate virtually, dealing with tech issues while sitting under the covid cloud with shelter-in-place, you all still managed to pull it off and do a great job. I am so grateful for all you invested and the lives that you impacted through relational connection and helping each other rely on God in these trying times. You all took a season that was almost cancelled and turned it into something special. Great job! Thank you!
Have a great week, here are your resources:
