Fall Week 4 Church Reimagined

Leaders, this week we have the golden opportunity of all golden opportunities in our groups. This week Scott will be talking about “Rooted Family” or being fully known and fully loved. In other words, it’s about the DNA of our community groups, what we’re all about. Most of this week’s discussion will revolve around vulnerability and being open and truthful with God and others. It’ll be about who you really are and the things that go on in your life and mind, not just the persona we try to project in order to be accepted. Like I said, this is HUGE for groups because one of the biggest factors in having great groups is the level of vulnerability in them. If you or I are not truly known, then it’s actually difficult to believe we are loved. And, if we never open up the deep, meaningful parts of life, then we don’t let God or His people in to do the transformation God has planned for us. So as leaders, pray for your people, push into areas where you know there may be more under the surface. Also know this: YOU set the tone. If you go deep personally with your group, your group has permission to follow; but if you stay surface level, they will also. I am praying for you. If I can assist you in any way, please let me know.

Have a great week, here are your resources.
