Winter Week 2 David The Shadows Of The King
Hey, leaders!
Our winter season is off and running, and I hope your first meeting went great! I want to give you a warning for this week: although this is only week two of our Community Group season, in our David message series we are at the point of addressing pain and suffering. Scott will be talking about family pain and unresolved, undealt-with issues. A nice light fluffy topic to start the season? Not so much! With that, we are following suit and jumping right in with the discussion questions for groups.
So, this week’s questions are dealing with pain, suffering, and sin in our lives–including our own sins that we choose which cause or bring about pain and suffering. This topic is deep and will lead to great, open, and honest discussion if you as the leaders lead with vulnerability. It has the potential to really take groups to a deep significant level and create a very special season. I just want you to know that this is what is in store for you for week two.
Remember, this week and always, you are not leading alone. God didn’t tell you to go lead people alone; He asked you to join Him in what He is already doing. Seek Him, listen to Him, and let Him guide where things go.
