Bedding and Towels Urgently Needed During COVID-19
Unity Care urgently needs 40 toiletry kits, new towel sets and new Twin XL bedding to help the homeless foster youth and the families they work be safely sheltered during COVID-19.

We can help these teens by going on Unity Care's Amazon registry to buy the specific items listed. You can have them shipped directly to Unity Care or you can bring it to them at 1400 Parkmoor Avenue, Suite 115, San Jose, CA 95126.

Why the Increased Need?

Unity Care is receiving an influx of new homeless youth into their transitional housing program due to the shelter-in-place order. It is reaching out to the community for ongoing essential basic needs items like bedding and toiletries that will help mitigate their overall costs to support these youth. They are increasing staffing in their shared homes and purchasing adequate preventative and quarantine supplies in each home, such as disinfectants, hand sanitizers, thermometers, masks, gloves, food, toiletry, laundry, and over-the-counter medicines supplies. In addition, they are helping with the loss of income by youth and families who need help with rent, phones/ communication devices and medicines.
