All 880 “thank you” cards have been delivered to our San Jose police officers. Jim and Nancy Becknall recently stopped to talk to two officers who were parked in our church gravel lot, drinking the Starbucks that they had purchased with their gift cards. They were very appreciative. Thank you, everyone who participated in blessing our police force!

Not only did they have one, but this year’s Achiever Hawks Team brought home the first-ever flag football trophy by placing 6th in the league. We are proud of the boys for their tremendous effort and growth this season. They demonstrated heart and accomplishment in a David and Goliath type fashion, which was especially impressive because Achiever’s was the only team in the playoffs with 4th and 5th graders on the starting offensive and defensive squads. As a ministry of Church on the Hill, Achiever is to be congratulated for the success of this team, which came as a result of their focus on playing for the Lord. Go Hawks!
