Spring Week 3 New Life

Hey, Leaders!  As we reviewed our experiences at the end of the Rooted series, we discussed carrying over to future CG seasons the experiences we really appreciated.  As a result, this coming week has been set aside to be the prayer experience, so for your group time you have the option of having the prayer time instead of a discussion of questions, or doing the questions then and having the prayer experience at another time.  It’s your call.  When you decide to do the prayer experience, make sure your meeting place allows for people to have space to be alone.  If you need to use the church, please let us know, and we should be able to accommodate you.I hope you have a great week in which you and your people deeply connect with God.

Here are your resources for the week.

Also here is a example schedule for the prayer time. Group meeting prayer night schedule. Instead of discussing questions for this week use the group time to walk through a prayer experience. Example of a 7:00 to 8:30 group.

7:00 - 7:15 - people show up and then catch up on how they are doing, then give a rundown of how the night will go and what the prayer time will look like.

7:15 - 8:15 - Time alone solo with God praying and listening to Him. (example - read _____ passage for 15 minutes, then journal your thoughts, take 15 minutes to pray using the praise, repent, ask and yield, then spend the last 30 minutes in silence listening for God to speak or just being still with him.)

8:15 - 8:25 - Group prayer time

8:25 - 8:30 - discussion of how the time went for people
