The Great Toy Giveaway

Over the Christmas season, we had the joy of giving out 1,200 toys and gift cards (worth $26,725) and 4,000 socks that were given to us by Convoy of Hope to:

- foster and at-risk kids of Help One Child families

- newly-sheltered families

- families living in tiny home housing

- low-income families

- grandparents on disability for their grandkids

- kids at four schools who are on food programs

- our Spanish and Vietnam churches' contacts

- an Eastside church

- a Christian preschool

- and your friends who are struggling!

We helped families pick toys and wrapped their presents while they drank hot cocoa and ate cookies. They were all super grateful. One family with six kids (foster, adopted, and birth kids) were so grateful for the gifts. Another Mom said she's about to be homeless next week, but at least her kids will have toys. And we invited them to Christmas Eve! 

Thank you, everyone, who helped make this happen! Through everyone's efforts we were able to bless so many in our community.
