Christmas Giving Tree

Every child deserves a gift at Christmas, but some who have been removed from their home for their own safety, might not get one, because sadly, they have been placed in an emergency shelter home, group home, or foster home. We want to make sure that doesn’t happen, so this Christmas we are partnering with Help One Child, a non-profit that helps at-risk children, to provide 100 gifts.

Just go to the wishlist and choose a child by age or gender and buy the gift they wish for and bring it COTH on Dec. 13, 9am-1pm! (The gifts typically cost around $40-$50). If you sign up for a child, please bring in a present for them or they won’t get one!

If you’re not much of a shopper, you could purchase one of the gift cards on the list and bring it to church on Dec. 13 as well. That enables Help One Child to purchase presents for those that didn’t get fulfilled.

Volunteers Needed: We also need some helpers sorting and distributing the presents. If you’d like to volunteer for Gift Organizing on Dec. 13 (9am-1pm) or Gift Distribution on Dec. 20 (11:00-1pm), write to susan@churchonthehill.com.

Let’s bless these children who so need and deserve our love this Christmas!
