Meet the Challenge

Before COVID, almost every day someone came up our hill, asking for help. We would love to have the opportunity to not only give a little financial assistance, but also give them a chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus that could transform their lives.

On Feb. 20 they will have that chance! We are going to partner with a non-profit called “Meet the Challenge” to bring hope and help to our unhoused neighbors by putting on a BBQ and bringing kindness, haircuts, clothes and the Good News of Jesus Christ to people struggling to survive day-to-day on the streets. This event is like a private block party in our parking lot just for them!

Around 50 people will be bussed to our church from downtown and various shelters and we will step out of our comfort zone to serve them and share the Gospel with them. Meet the Challenge will later do follow-up bible studies with them at their shelter. 

Will you join us? We’re looking for 15-20 volunteers. COVID protocols will be strictly followed.
